What started as a close game, with La Salle even trailing at times, turned into a decisive victory for the Explorers in their first state **** le win since 2019. While La Salle took an early 3-0 lead, Radnor scored four straight goals to take a 4-3 advantage. The Explorers outscored Radnor 7-2 in the second quarter to take a comfortable four-goal lead, which they added on to the rest of the game.
This was Radnor's sixth straight appearance in the PIAA championship game, with the Raptors losing only twice − last year against Springfield-Delco, and Saturday against La Salle. One of their four championships came against La Salle in 2024. In their regular season meeting in April, La Salle defeated Radnor 7-3. This is La Salle's fourth state **** le, with the Explorers' last championship occurring in 2019.
