Prince George, heir to the British throne and first child of Prince William and Princess Catherine, is officially a teenager.
The prince's 13th birthday is on July 22. As they do each year, the Prince and Princess of Wales posted a new birthday portrait of George for this birthday. The photo was taken by Matt Porteous at Kensington Palace after last month's Trooping the Colour ceremony.
Earlier this year, similar photos were posted to celebrate Prince Louis' eighth birthday in April and Princess Charlotte's 11th birthday in May.
There was also a birthday video for George posted by the prince's parents:

The Prince and Princess of Wales have arrived for the final day of Wimbledon, bringing with them their eldest two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. The family were in great spirits as they stepped out in the sunshine on Sunday to watch the Men's Final between Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev.
Princess Kate pulled out all the stops wearing a gorgeous green dress with fluted sleeves and one-shoulder draped scarf detail, with her mermaid waves looking as glorious as ever. She teamed her dress with unique bronze accessories and a purple bow brooch.
Meanwhile, Prince William looked dapper in his signature navy suit, with Prince George looking effortlessly smart matching his dad.
Princess Charlotte was her mummy's mini-me sporting a bright blue dress with tie waist and ruffle sleeves. A colour Kate wore just days ago at Wimbledon!
Prince Louis was not in attendance on this occasion, however, we have seen him on official state engagements like Trooping the Colour. Tennis matches can be notoriously long so perhaps the family questioned how the eight-year-old's attention span would cope on a long, hot day like Sunday.

Kate Middleton appeared to send a clear message of support as Prince William celebrated a milestone weekend. A new photograph and heartfelt family tribute marked both his birthday and Father’s Day on Sunday. The post also arrived as reports claimed the couple has been engaged in “difficult conversations” about the royal family’s future. Despite the speculation, the focus remained on William’s role as a husband and father.
Prince William had a double celebration this week, with his 44th birthday falling on the same weekend as Father’s Day. To mark the occasion, Kensington Palace shared a new photograph of the Prince of Wales alongside a touching message from his family.
The previously unseen image showed William with Princess Charlotte in the gardens of Kensington Palace after Trooping the Colour. Accompanying the photograph was a message signed by his wife and children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. “Happy birthday and Father’s Day to the best Papa in the World! We love you very much. C, G, C & L,” the caption read.
The tribute arrived amid fresh speculation about differences of opinion between the Waleses regarding Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. An insider cited by Closer has alleged that Kate feels considerable sympathy for Beatrice and Eugenie. The source claimed that she believes the sisters deserve more support from within the family.
William, however, is said to be taking a more measured approach. According to the allegations, the future king is focused on protecting the monarchy’s image and is cautious about becoming too closely involved in situations that could create further complications for the institution. The source alleged that these differing viewpoints have led to some “difficult conversations” between the couple privately.

The heartwarming photo showed William beaming with his arm around his daughter in the Kensington Palace gardens after returning from Trooping the Colour on 13 June. The Prince and Princess of Wales were joined by their three children – Prince George, 12, Charlotte, and Prince Louis, eight – on the Buckingham Palace balcony at Trooping.

Catherine, Princess of Wales, attended Trooping the Colour, the annual ceremonial parade celebrating King Charles III's official birthday, held at Buckingham Palace on Saturday.
Over the years, this event has often left us with little more than balcony photographs, making it difficult to fully appreciate Catherine's ensemble. This year, however, we were treated to a complete view of her powder-blue Catherine Walker coat dress, which felt perfectly suited to the occasion.
The double-breasted design, accented with crisp white trim, struck a familiar note for the Princess, whose wardrobe frequently returns to clean tailoring and elegant colour palettes for major royal engagements. Paired with a coordinating Philip Treacy hat and classic white pumps, the look was instantly recognisable as Catherine's signature style.

Royal fashion watchers may also have noticed the resemblance to a Catherine Walker coat dress worn by Diana, Princess of Wales, in 1987, adding another layer of royal fashion history to the occasion.
