In 2023, the Rams identified and finessed Puka Nacua in the fifth round after catching only 107 of his 165 targets over 27 games at BYU, leading to 1,743 yards and 14 touchdowns, while some value in the run game (39/357/5). Are NFL mock drafts better prediction tools than throwing darts? We're testing it out
A good friend asked me last week whether there's much of a difference between writing an NFL mock draft and throwing darts at a wall.
Let's find out.
The unspoken reality of mock drafting is that the best in the business struggle to bat .300. The football ****** ysis site FantasyPros examined 145 expert mock drafts from 2025 and found only 10 that correctly predicted 10 or more players and their team. Yes, Mel Kiper Jr. was included among the 10. The median expert, however, got just six picks right. Mayb
