Dean Huijsen has underlined the importance of Real Madrid's upcoming fixtures after their 4-1 victory over Sevilla, with the defender turning his attention towards Wednesday's Champions League meeting with RB Leipzig and the subsequent El Clasico against Barcelona.
Speaking to Real Madrid's official media after the win at the Santiago Bernabeu, Huijsen stressed the need to approach the demanding schedule one match at a time.
The Spanish defender also highlighted the significance of playing at home, welcomed Eder Militao's return from injury and explained why securing three points against Leipzig could prove crucial to Madrid's European campaign.
"We're looking forward to what's next," he began saying.
"We have the Champions League on Wednesday, we're taking it one step at a time, and then we play Barcelona. It's an important week for us."
