Blake Lively is struggling with Taylor Swift and Dakota Johnson's increasingly public friendship amid her estrangement from the pop superstar, according to gossip columnist Rob Shuter.
Sources told Shuter's Naughty But Nice Substack on Monday, October 5, that that Lively, 39, fears she has been replaced in Swift's inner circle as the singer, 36, continues to publicly show her support for Johnson — a situation that has become "torture" for her.
"Blake was devastated watching it," a source told Shuter of Swift's surprise appearance during Johnson's Saturday Night Live monologue on October 3. "Taylor wasn't just supporting Dakota privately. She walked onto that stage and showed millions of people how close they are. Blake couldn't help wondering: Does Taylor know exactly how much this will hurt me?"
Swift and Johnson's friendship is not new. The Verity star, 37, recently confirmed that she and Swift have "been friends for a really long time" and are "very close."
