MANHATTAN — Kansas State football's offensive line will be under a microscope throughout the first few weeks of the season due to the preseason injuries that have mounted.
The concern began when the Wildcats announced left tackle John Pastore would miss the season after suffering a lower-leg injury. Pastore, an NFL Draft prospect, was supposed to anchor the group after receiving preseason All-Big 12 recognition.
Those concerns continued to build after Klein said earlier this week that freshman Oliver Miller would miss the first few weeks after getting hurt in practice. Miller was one of the main candidates to replace Pastore at left tackle for the season. They also could be without starting left guard Tanner Morley, who Klein said is day-to-day.
Kansas State isn't required to release an injury update ahead of its Saturday, Sept. 5 game against Nicholls, which kicks off at 6 p.m. We'll update this page ahead of kickoff as players emerge from the tunnel to warm up.
