BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) -- Baton Rouge Kingfish single-game tickets for the upcoming season officially go on sale Sept. 8.
Season tickets are still being sold. People should call or text 225-491-4158 to buy season tickets.
Professional hockey in Baton Rouge is under new ownership and remains with the Federal Prospects Hockey League. Jimmy Soper, a nine-year professional hockey veteran with experience at different levels, was named the head coach.
An online merchandise store recently launched, selling Baton Rouge Kingfish shirts, sweatshirts and jackets. Jerseys are also available for pre-order.
The home opener is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. Oct. 16 against the Monroe Moccasins at the Raising Cane's River Center.
