Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average and the other major stock indexes dropped Tuesday, as oil prices and Treasury yields jumped. Meanwhile, Nvidia (NVDA) and Micron Technology (MU) were early losers on the stock market today.
Ahead of Tuesday's open, Dow futures fell 0.5% as S&P 500 futures dropped 0.5%. Nasdaq-100 futures declined 1% in early morning trading.
West Texas Intermediate crude futures jumped more than 2%, to around $87.75 a barrel. The 10-year Treasury yield rose above 4.79%. Bitcoin fell to roughly $77,900.
Among exchange traded funds, the Invesco QQQ (QQQ) was down 1.1%, as the State Street SPDR S&P 500 (SPY) dropped 0.6% before Tuesday's opening bell.
Shares of artificial intelligence ****** an Nvidia declined more than 1% premarket Tuesday, threatening to erase Monday's 1.5% gain and fall further below a 227.92 cup-with-handle entry.
