Sunday, starter Zebby Matthews put the Twins on his back, taking a perfect game into the sixth inning and a shutout into the ninth as he helped the team snap its four-game losing streak.
Monday, Taj Bradley did the same.
Bradley started his night by striking out a pair of batters in the first inning and finished it by striking out the final two batters of his seven-inning outing. In between, Bradley allowed just four hits in his start and just one run, which came on a solo shot from third baseman Hao-Yu Lee in the sixth inning.
Bradley finished with nine strikeouts in his outing and got a pair of key double plays ***** two of the times he found trouble in his outing.
