Six years after trading royal duties for California, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are preparing to make Britain part of their family life again.
Their biographer, Omid Scobie — who co-wrote the 2020 Sussex biography Finding Freedom before publishing Endgame in 2023 — says the country now means something different to them, with the royal journalist addressing their reported return in his newly launched Off Script Substack.
Scobie believes the couple's priorities have shifted as they raise Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5.

"Harry and Meghan themselves are not the same people who left. They are older, raising two children, building businesses and careers independent of royal life, and relate to Britain differently than they once did," he wrote.
