Alysa Liu is sitting out the upcoming competition season.
The 21-year-old Olympic gold medalist announced her plan to skip the 2026-27 season in a Tuesday, Aug. 25, Instagram post. She was ******* igned and expected to compete in the upcoming International Skating Union (ISU) Grand Prix of Figure Skating.
