But this weekend, only 40 drivers can fit in its ******* e Zero Sugar 400 field, which leaves the NASCAR Cup Series with a problem. Forty-one cars want to enter.

Thirty-six of those rides possess charters, so they're locked in. The other five — piloted by Joey Gase, Casey Mears, Gray Gaulding, Corey Heim and Volusia County native Daniel Dye — will duke it out for four spots during Friday's qualifying session. The slowest will head home early.
The race itself will receive the green flag a few minutes after 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
