General Hospital star Sawandi Wilson is one proud dad. After revealing the harrowing story of his new baby's birth last week, Wilson is happy to report that his little girl is home and doing well — and she even has a name.
"THE LEGEND OF: ZELDA DANA EILINSFELD WILSON," the actor wrote on Instagram on the morning of August 24th, alongside a series of photos of himself and his wife, Anna Eilinsfeld, with their baby. "5 days in the NICU.✅ Pediatric appointments. ✅ Checking out of the hospital with a clean bill of health…PRICELESS."
Wilson had taken to social media a week earlier to tell the story of his daughter's emergency C-section birth. A few days later, he updated fans on Zelda's condition and the first moment he had laid eyes on her in the NICU.
"The first time we see our daughter — like, technically, the first, day one of being a dad — she's hooked up to machines to help her breathe," Wilson explained in an Instagram video. "She's hooked up to machines to help stabilize her glucose levels."
Although Wilson asked himself why this was happening to his family, looking around the NICU helped put things in perspective for the proud, new dad.
