James Harden has joined an elite list of NBA players featuring LeBron James, Steph Curry and Kevin Durant after signing a $97 million deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Harden has returned to the Cavaliers on a three-year contract that includes a player option for the third year and a trade kicker. During his previous stint with the team, Harden appeared in 26 regular-season games, averaging 20.5 points, 7.7 **** ists and 4.8 rebounds.
The 11-time All-Star will now earn an estimated $32.33 million per year under the new contract.

With the deal, Harden becomes only the fourth player in NBA history after James, Curry and Durant to eclipse $500 million in career earnings.
