But Beckham wasn't the only veteran they added this offseason who's past their prime. On Tuesday, August 18, the Giants signed veteran running back Najee Harris to a one-year deal.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, to make room for Harris on the Giants' roster, they've released former Pittsburgh Steelers Pro Bowler JuJu Smith-Schuster.
"In the corresponding move for signing RB Najee Harris, the Giants are planning to release veteran WR JuJu Smith-Schuster, per sources," Schefter reports.
