The Tampa Bay Rays have been a joy to watch this season. They have handled business all season long and sit comfortably in first place in the American League East.
They hold a 5.5-game lead over the New York Yankees as we get closer to September. They don't have the hardest schedule remaining, but it isn't the easiest either, so the club must keep up what they've been doing all year.
If they can avoid injuries from here on out, they're going to be a team that could be quite difficult to take down in a postseason series with the level of offense and pitching the club has gotten.
