Pat McAfee is no stranger to drawing a public reaction, negatively or positively. The brash radio host's latest endeavor certainly earned him his share of praise and blowback.
McAfee appeared alongside President Donald Trump at The 2026 Patriot Games at SPIRE Academy in Geneva, Ohio Tuesday. After greeting Trump on the tarmac upon his arrival in Cleveland, McAfee also spent time sitting next to the Commander-in-Chief during the event, a four-day competition in which one male and one female high school athlete from each state get "tested on the skills from the Presidential Fitness Test" and "go through a military-inspired boot camp circuit." Finalists will take on an obstacle course "designed to test strategy and skill."
Some X users blasted McAfee, who claims to be apolitical, for hanging with Trump. The President reportedly invited the College GameDay ****** yst as his guest.
One person seemingly took things too far, earning a threat of a lawsuit from "The Pat McAfee Show" headliner.
McAfee has spent time on X Wednesday responding to some of his critics. He's largely appeared unbothered, with the exception of his reaction to a tweet from user financeJonE.
