Prince William and Prince Harry could reportedly set their differences aside and begin a reconciliation for one very royal reason. The brothers have seemingly remained estranged since the Sussexes stepped down as working royals in 2020.
Their rift has only deepened following Meghan Markle and Harry's controversial interview with Oprah Winfrey and the Duke of Sussex's 2023 memoir, Spare.
Prince William and Prince Harry could reportedly eventually reunite and repair their fractured relationship. Royal expert Afua Hagan has predicted that as King Charles continues to age in his role as Monarch, the brothers could set aside their differences for his sake.
She revealed to The Royal Observer, "There is no benefit for either side for there to be this division in the royal family. Especially as we move into the reign of [a future] King William, what he wants really is to put a footnote on that the whole saga of the royal story."
According to Hagan, William, who is the future heir to the throne, could possibly take the first step to patch things up with Harry. The brothers are aware that their father is ageing and could possibly bury the hatchet to usher in a new era of monarchy.
