Liverpool FC supporters group Spirit of Shankly (SoS) has written a letter to the club to seek 'further information and greater clarity' on prospective investment in LFC from a consortium involving Jeff Bezos.
On Monday, Sky News reporter Mark Kleinman broke the news that the group of potential investors (led by Amit Bhatia and also including Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin) is nearing a deal to purchase a stake of approximately one-third in the Merseyside club.
Communicating via its official website, SoS confirmed that it has written to Liverpool FC with five key questions regarding the potential sale of a stake in the club:
