Chicago Sky guard/forward DiJonai Carrington has revealed the reason she posted 'white privilege' on social media after getting ejected against the Indiana Fever.
Carrington took to Threads to say white privilege and tag the Fever in her post after she was ejected for a rough foul on Cunningham at the end of the first quarter.
With media pundits and fans all sharing their interpretation of what Carrington was trying to convey with that post, the 28-year-old has come out and addressed it herself.
After former NFL player and now ******* yst Emanuel Acho slammed Carrington for her use of the phrase after that foul, Carrington clarified the reasons behind her use of it after the Cunningham foul.
"I've never once claimed that the ******* sment of the foul was white privilege (that was your ******* umption). Try exercising your critical thinking skills, I know you studied psych. Furthermore, I'm the last thing from ignorant or asinine when it comes to speaking on 'white privilege,' do ya research on that one."
