The Tennessee **** ans are one week into training camp, and the fingerprints of new head coach Robert Saleh can already be felt by all of the organization.
The **** ans do still have some questions that must be answered in camp, but one thing is starting to look more certain by the day: the **** ans' defense will be much improved in 2026. Not only have the **** ans improved the roster around Jeffery Simmons, they improved the braintrust with the additions of Saleh and defensive coordinator Gus Bradley.
How much of an improvement was it? Zachary Pereles and the staff at CBS Sports looked at the defensive playcallers across the league and have Saleh clearly inside the top 10.
