Phoenix Suns forward Dillon Brooks has signed a three-year, $73-million extension, The Arizona Republic confirmed August 5.
"Villain is here to stay," Brooks told The Republic. "Championship is all on my mind."
ESPN's Shams Charania first reported the news August 5, as the extension runs through the 2029-30 season.
Brooks averaged a career-high 20.2 points a game in his first year with the Suns, who acquired him from the Houston Rockets in the Kevin Durant trade.
The Suns finished 45-37 last season and returned to the postseason after missing the playoffs last season with Devin Booker, Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal, who they bought out.
