Penn State football will start the Matt Campbell regime with one of its signature fan events.
The Sept. 5 season-opening matchup against Marshall in a renovating Beaver Stadium has been designated as the team's Stripe Out game.
Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. on FOX Sports1.
Fans are asked to wear either blue or white, depending on their stadium section, for the 11th annual Stripe Out. Penn State officials said they will provide a color-coded seat map to fans later this month.
Other theme game designations, including the White Out and the Helmet Stripe game, will be announced as soon as television networks and kickoff times are determined. One already set: Homecoming will be Sept. 26 against Wisconsin with the game expected to start at either noon or 3:30 p.m.
