In a recent print edition, A Bola stated that Tottenham Hotspur are planning to move in for Benfica winger Andreas Schjelderup this summer. It has been mentioned that Spurs are hoping to get a deal done for the Norwegian talent this off-season.
Schjelderup enjoyed a decent run of form at the Portuguese club in the previous campaign when he put in a series of impressive displays for them on the left wing. The 22-year-old scored ten times and picked up seven ***** ists in 43 matches for Benfica last season on all fronts.
The Portuguese talent is currently among the best young wide players in Liga Portugal. Thus, it is no surprise that Spurs are eager to get him on board in this transfer window.
His current contract at Benfica will run out in the summer of 2028, which could make it tough for Tottenham to sign him on the cheap later this year.
