Rachael Ray's loved ones have been growing increasingly concerned about the celebrity chef's well-being as fans continue to speculate about her appearance.
"Whenever Rachael's asked about it, she just rolls her eyes and insists everything's fine, that everyone is overreacting," a source exclusively tells In Touch. "But this has been going on for years now, and it's becoming harder and harder for the people who care about her not to worry. She doesn't look like her healthy self these days and hasn't for quite a while."
The source adds that the videos in which Ray, 57, appeared to slur her words "only set off more alarm bells."
In 2024, she revealed on her podcast that she had suffered a "couple of bad falls," and in 2025 she told fans her speech was affected by a "bum wisdom tooth," a source told the Daily Mail.
"Nobody's saying she owes the world an explanation because she absolutely has a right to her privacy, but her friends do wish she'd open up a little more so they know how best to support her if she needs it," the source continues. "Right now, the wall of silence isn't helping because everyone feels like they're being kept in the dark."
