Enzo Maresca is set to make the decisive call on Claudio Echeverri's Man City future this summer
Echeverri will first report to Man City before any decision on a loan or permanent move is taken
River Plate have pushed to bring the Argentine playmaker back to Buenos Aires this window
Manchester City boss Enzo Maresca will deliver his verdict on Claudio Echeverri's future when the Argentina youth international reports for pre-season, as per a new report.
Echeverri has been one of the most closely watched players within Manchester City's development structure since his arrival from River Plate, with the attacking midfielder's trajectory through two contrasting loan spells in European football leaving his long-term pathway at the Etihad Stadium firmly unresolved as the club enters a new managerial era.
