The axe has fallen for Pape Thiaw. In a statement released at 4 a.m., the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) announced that it had "decided to initiate proceedings to terminate Pape Thiaw’s duties."
This decision was made following a meeting of the FSF Executive Committee, bringing the coach’s spell at the helm of the Lions of Teranga to an end.
