However, days before the highly anticipated wedding, Swift made a virtual appearance at the farewell concert for country icon Alan Jackson, and she got a somewhat surprising reaction from the crowd.
Jackson announced his plans to retire from performing ahead of this tour, which was labeled "Last Call: One More for the Road – The Finale." Swift, who started her career in the country genre, paid homage to a legend by making a video appearance during the show at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee.
She was one of many celebrities, including Keith Urban, Lainey Wilson, Miranda Lambert, and Luke Bryan, who paid tribute to Jackson with a live performance or a video.
However, unlike the other celebrities, Swift was not greeted particularly kindly by the crowd, as the pop icon was booed at the show.
