Jun. 23—Carroll has selected Sydney Ingram as its next girls basketball coach.
The school announced its decision Tuesday, June 23.
Ingram, 27, is a Beavercreek native and 2017 graduate of Carroll. She played for the Patriots for three years under the school's last two head coaches, Rob Berry and Cecilia Grosselin. Ingram was a second-team all-Greater Catholic League Co-Ed performer in the 2016-17 season.
"I am truly honored and excited for the opportunity to serve as the next Varsity Girls' Basketball Coach for Archbishop Carroll High School, Ingram said. "I am looking forward to building strong connections with our student athletes, continuing the culture of hard work and excellence and helping the program continue to compete at a high level.
"I strive to develop not only basketball players but strong leaders that will contribute on and off the court."
