The Bears made official the signings of former UFL players Kaden Davis and Tony Fields II. The team announced the moves Tuesday, along with the corresponding waivers of linebacker Dominique Hampton and kicker Gabriel Plascencia.
Fields played linebacker for the Columbus Aviators this spring, finishing with 77 tackles, five tackles for loss and a sack in earning All-UFL honors.
He originally entered the NFL as a fifth-round pick of the Browns in 2021 and spent five seasons in the league.
In four seasons with the Browns, Fields appeared in 45 games, including 10 starts.
Davis, a receiver and returner, played for the Houston Gamblers and returned 10 kickoffs for 275 yards.
