In a recent report, journalist Graeme Bailey revealed that Liverpool are facing stiff competition for Midtjylland defender Han-beom Lee this summer. It is understood that the Reds would have to compete with Leeds United, Chelsea, Newcastle United and Brighton and Hove Albion in the race to sign the South Korea international this off-season.
Lee enjoyed a solid campaign at Midtjylland recently as he was responsible for putting in a series of impressive displays at the heart of their backline. The 23-year-old scored four times and secured four ******* ists in 50 matches for the Danish outfit last season on all fronts.
The South Korean talent is one of the best centre-backs in the Danish Superliga. Hence, Liverpool would do well to lure him to Anfield in this transfer window.
His current contract at Midtjylland will run out at the end of next season, which could open the door for the Reds to sign him on the cheap later this year.
