Emma Heming Willis shared an emotional note in support of her husband, Bruce Willis, to honor World FTD Awareness Week.
Willis was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia, also called FTD, in 2023. He was initially diagnosed with aphasia, a neurological condition that affects communication, in 2022.

"I can't go through World FTD Awareness Week without talking about Bruce. He is the driving force behind my advocacy," Heming Willis said in a post shared on Instagram last week.
"He has opened so many doors for me in this work, and I will continue to walk through them. I will not let his diagnosis be in vain," she said.
