Elon Musk and Shivon Zilis' relationship has taken an unexpected turn. Zilis, the Neuralink executive who shares four children with Musk, announced on Friday, Oct. 2, that their romantic relationship had ended. Her account suggests the split happened remarkably quickly, with Zilis saying she went from being in love to being "let go" within a week.
"It's hard to go from in love to let go in a week with no warning, but that's just how it is sometimes," Zilis wrote on X. Zilis shared a screenshot of what she presented as an affectionate text conversation with Musk from shortly before the breakup.

As of Oct. 2, Musk had not publicly responded to Zilis' breakup announcement, according to PEOPLE and Business Insider.
Zilis did not hide the emotional impact of the relationship ending. "I've loved him more than life itself," she wrote, according to Bushttps://www.hola.com/us/ce... Insider. She also said Musk had taught her "100 lifetimes of knowledge" and brought tremendous meaning into her life.
