THURSDAY'S RESULTS (SEPT. 10)
Forrest Dolan and Adam Cook posted 100-yard games on the ground as Franklin Pierce's Power-T offense ran over Peninsula, 42-14, across the Narrows on Thursday night.
The Cardinals piled 448 total rushing yards, fueled by Dolan (22 CAR, 187 YDS, TD) and Cook (18 CAR, 123 YDS, TD). Quarterback Jeremiah Orcutt added 58 yards and two rushing touchdowns on three carries.
"I was proud of the way our guys responded tonight," Franklin Pierce head coach Trevor Hanson said. "We played physical, ran the football extremely well with 400+ yards on the ground, and defensively created takeaways and ran to the football. That's the kind of complementary FP football we want to play.
