Barcelona made an enquiry about Lautaro Martinez during the summer, but Inter Milan were clear about their stance on their captain.
Inter president Giuseppe Marotta has now confirmed that the Catalan club did make contact over the Argentine striker, although the response from both the Italian side and the player was decisive.

Speaking to DAZN Italia ahead of Inter's meeting with Napoli at San Siro, Marotta addressed Barcelona's interest in Martinez and made it clear that the forward remains central to the club's plans.
"The news about Barcelona's enquiry regarding Lautaro is true, but the response was decisive from us and from the player to continue together."
