Newcastle United will clash heads with Tottenham Hotspur at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this Saturday as they look to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Magpies managed to earn a narrow 3-2 win over West Bromwich Albion in midweek, which should give them some confidence ahead of this league match this weekend.
Matthias Jaissle will set his players up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and could make some changes to his first XI for this game. We can expect to see Nick Woltemade get the nod to lead the charge for the Tyneside club up top.
Lukas Hornicek will operate in goal for the Magpies after allowing two goals in his last league outing. Sven Botman will resume his partnership with Malick Thiaw at the centre of the Newcastle backline as they try to frustrate the home team during the 90 minutes.
Amar Dedic will fill in as the right-back, while Lewis Hall hopes to give a good account of himself on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will get the license to go forward and express themselves inside the opponent's half.
Fabian Schar will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.
