Former Alabama football quarterback Ty Simpson has officially made his highly anticipated NFL preseason debut.
One of the top quarterbacks selected in the 2026 NFL draft, Simpson did so Saturday with the Los Angeles Rams during the team's first preseason game against the Kansas City Chiefs. A game played in Kansas City, the former Alabama quarterback came off the bench in place of starter Stetson Bennett IV, and went on to impress over his three quarters of action while leading the Rams to a 20-12 win.
In all, Simpson completed 21-of-25 passes for 190 yards and two touchdowns in the win. The former Alabama quarterback also finished with a 125.0 passer rating.
