That's why it was particularly concerning when Alonso appeared to limp and struggle in the 10th inning while running to first base.

He showed little concern for the cramp in his right calf.
Alonso said: "I've hobbled around before in my career, played through worse. It is what it is. Just got to stay on top of some work, and it is what it is. Feel fine, feel good. Got a game in maybe like 18 hours or so, so I've got to do whatever I can to get ready for that. I'm in good hands, I feel good. I'm going to be in there tomorrow."
