The Chargers have had themselves quite an offseason.
They've revamped and retooled like few teams this offseason, and their biggest offseason acquisition may have been offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel.
After serving as the Dolphins' head coach for the last four seasons, McDaniel heads to sunny Southern California with the goal of taking the Chargers' offense —and Justin Herbert — to the next level.
There's no denying Herbert's talent from the moment he stepped onto an NFL field; however, many wonder if the 28-year-old could take his game to the next level.
With McDaniel running things now, the expectation is that he will make things easier for himself. And some believe that an MVP could be on the horizon for the now veteran quarterback, including for NFL safety, Donte Whitner.
