Behind Marcel Reed, Miles O'Neill transferred to North Carolina this offseason, which was understandable given his fit with the program and ability to contend for a starting spot elsewhere, leading to former four-star prospect and Michigan flip Brady Hart becoming the Aggies' No. 2 signal-caller, followed by freshman Helaman Casuga, who will likely serve as the third-string option.
This spring, Brady Hart was one of several standouts, looking more comfortable in the pocket, and during the Maroon & White Game, he connected with Alabama transfer wide receiver Isaiah Horton for several impressive throws, while his best pass came under pressure, connecting with receiver Ashton Bethel-Roman down the seam.
Last season, Marcel Reed's toughness was on full display, starting all 13 games, while only leaving the huddle once against Texas before returning. While his importance can't be overstated, having a more experienced Brady Hart, who already understands the offense and what OC Holmon Wiggins expects, provides Mike Elko a trustworthy option in emergency situations.
