In a recent report, Cadena Ser claimed that ****** nal have identified Atletico Madrid forward Julian Alvarez as a target for this summer transfer window. It has been mentioned that the Gunners would have to compete with Barcelona in the race to sign the Argentina international, who prefers a move to the Catalan club this off-season.
Alvarez had another impressive campaign at the Madrid club as he was responsible for putting in a string of productive displays for them in the final third. The 26-year-old scored 20 goals and picked up nine ****** ists in 49 matches for Diego Simeone's side last season across all fronts.
The Argentine talent is currently one of the most feared strikers in La Liga. Thus, the Gunners would do well to bring him to the Emirates Stadium in this summer transfer period.
His current contract with Atletico Madrid will run out in the summer of 2030, which could make it difficult for ****** nal to sign him on a cut-price deal later this year.
