Caddyshack star Michael O'Keefe, who played Danny Noonan in the 1980 film, revealed that cocaine use was rampant on set at the time and claimed that it was even included in the film's budget.
"There was some miscellaneous item," the 71-year-old actor told Page Six in a report published Friday, October 2. "It was the '70s. That's what was happening back then. People were just treating it like it was toothpaste, and you had to do it twice a day to stay healthy."
O'Keefe also confessed to doing cocaine before filming scenes for the 1980 comedy, which starred Ted Knight, Chevy Chase, Bill Murray and Rodney Dangerfield.
"It was not my favorite memory because in retrospect I can see those moments on camera and I'm not too happy about them," O'Keefe shared.
