With rumours circulating around Deniz Undav being named VfB Stuttgart captain, the forward spoke highly of current skipper Atakan Karazor.
"Even if I should become captain, Ata will remain my captain. He is a good player and has always given everything for VfB.
"He communicates well, creates ******* e, and takes a lot upon himself," Undav told Sky Germany at Stuttgart's pre-season camp.
As for Fabian Bredlow, who is in line to deputize for the injured Dennis Seimen, Undav always had faith in the goalkeeper's abilities.
"I've been telling him [Bredlow] for two seasons that we have the best backup goalkeeper in the entire Bundesliga.
