Former Miami University (Ohio) runner Stephen Biebelhausen may have a new world record on his hands after running a mile in four minutes and 17 seconds while pushing his baby in a stroller.
The time is reportedly nine seconds faster than the recognized men's stroller-mile mark of 4:26.29, according to Marathon Handbook, though Guinness World Records would need to verify the performance before it becomes official.
Here's what to know.
Before his latest accomplishment, Biebelhausen starred at Miami University, where he competed in cross country and middle-distance track events.
According to his Miami athletics bio, he posted a career-best 3:48.11 in the 1,500 meters as a senior, one of the program's top 10 fastest at the time, and qualified for the NCAA Great Lakes Regional in cross country.
