STEVENS POINT − The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point is offering a series of planetarium shows in December, according to a community announcement.
The Allen F. Blocher Planetarium will host shows at 2 p.m. Sundays. Each show lasts about an hour and includes a 25-minute presentation on the current night sky in central Wisconsin.
The events are free and open to the public, but donations are appreciated.
The first show, “Supermassive Black Holes: Uncovering the Invisible,” is set for Dec. 7. It will explore the physics of black hole formation within galaxy evolution.
