Trump pardons turkeys, Gobble and Waddle, ahead of Thanksgiving
President Trump pardoned two turkeys on Tuesday, sparing them from being served for Thanksgiving dinner this week. The 78th annual lighthearted White House tradition marked the first of Trump’s second term.
The turkeys, named Gobble and Waddle, both weigh over 50 pounds and hail from North Carolina.
